Happy 4th

Well, this has been an adventure filled week and it's only Monday!  Made it to work and back on the bike without getting hit by any cars (although one came close) - hopefully I can successfully repeat tomorrow!  I decided I had time to finish this card that I actually started last week.  I was actually making name tags for Simply Scrapbooks and had one left.  Then Holly reminded me about the challenge at Loves Rubber Stamps and I thought I'd use my remaining image to make a cute 4th of July card :-).

As is becoming a habit, Eintstine-the-cat had to help a bit with the coloring (sleeping in my lap) and photography (actually got more involved in that).  It was tough to get an image that didn't include her paw!  So for this card I used my Stampendous "Patriotic Pair" stamps.  For paper I used MME American Made "Patriotic Polkadot" paper (it is polka on the other side of that lovely houndstooth) and blue & red cardstock.  I colored her with my copics.  Overall very fun to make - and will hopefully be fun for my petsitter to receive :-)

Thanks for looking! (And, Holly, I managed to create links!)

  1. I'm so proud of you!!!! And this is so cute! Love the colors and the cute image and your coloring is awesome! I think the paw would add interest to your photo, lol, so don't be afraid to include him, he sounds like he wants to be famous, lol. Good luck on the challenge, she should be posting a winner tomorrow night or wednesday!
